Mohamed Saad joined Schneider Electric in 1998. He is currently the Zone President of Schneider Electric Africa & Caribbean, responsible for more than 54 countries. He occupied various positions within the organization in HR, project management & general management in several locations between Paris, Barcelona, Algeria and Egypt. In 2006, he became the Country President for Algeria then in 2010 he was nominated as Country President for Egypt and North East Africa. Finally, in April 2012 he was nominated to his current role. During his journey Mohamed proven to be a strong leader on both the business and the people’s side. He was able to successfully put Africa on track to reach the growth ambitious objectives through Schneider Electric products & solutions that are reliable, affordable and safe. He also managed to lead successful CSR projects in Africa to provide access to energy to the people who need it the most. This was achieved through special programs to train and sponsor young talents from the base of the pyramid in energy management to make them learn, tell, and build our sustainability story.

Beside his corporate responsibilities, Mohamed has further roles in reputable organizations. He is Treasurer of the French trade consolers’ committee-CCE and a board member in the French Chamber of Commerce. He provided lectures for graduate students in Paris at “l’Ecole Supérieure de Management en Alternance – l’ESMA” – Marne La Vallée. He also acted as graduate professor in HEC, Joy-en-Josas.

Mohamed graduated from the American University in Cairo, and pursued his education with an MBA and an executive education program at London Business School (LBS).
