Lt. General Abd El Aziz Seif El Deen
Chairman, Arab Organisation for Industrialization
A career commissioned officer, General Seif El-Din went up in the ranks of the Egyptian Air Defense Forces for 43 years until the rank of lieutenant general. He commanded the Air Defense Forces for seven years.
He attended all the specialized training courses and attained a Master of Military Sciences. He is a Fellow of the High War College, and attended the Senior Commanders Course at Nasser Higher Military Academy.
He took part in all the battles and wars that Egypt fought during the period from 1968 to 2012, either as a field officer or an operations or planning officer.
He was decorated 12 times during his military career, his last award being the Medal of the Republic, First Class.
He assumed the chairmanship of the Arab Organization for Industrialization on August 8, 2012, and took it upon himself to enhance the Organization’s performance in the fields of industry, organization and community services. Under his leadership, the Arab Organization for Industrialization shouldered a wider role in implementing the State’s national development plans.
General Seif El-Din is a firm believer in the high importance of integration with Africa, the Continent of the Future. He has taken many actions and made several visits in this significant direction.
