Kelvin Tan is the managing partner of Core Advisory, a global advisory practice in Singapore that advises CEOs and leaders worldwide. The expertise areas of the firm include economic development, infrastructure, natural resources, and finance. Specific to Africa, the firm and its associates have notably advised on special economic zones, mining, seaports, and mobilising green finance.
As the Secretary General and one of the founders of the Africa Southeast Asia Chamber of Commerce — whose members include Pacific International Lines, Olam, Wilmar, Crimson Logic, NSIA, Ecobank, and Afreximbank — Kelvin plays a key role in growing Africa-Asia trade, investments and key relationships.
Kelvin’s previous experience includes having served in leadership positions at Singapore’s Ministry of Trade & Industry, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. In 2011/12, he was named as an international business fellow for the Middle East and China by the Singapore government. Kelvin graduated with double masters in architecture and real estate investment in France, and speaks fluent English, French and Mandarin.
