CEO, Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD)


Kamil Olufowobi is the Founder & CEO, Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD), a global civil society initiative in support of the International Decade for People of African Descent as proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 68/237.

MIPAD is a unique global list that identifies high achievers of African descent in public and private sectors worldwide, connecting those outside Africa in the Diaspora with their counterparts inside Africa. The list will be released annually until 2024.

Kamil is a true embodiment of “Thinking Globally and Acting Locally,”​ as he has lived, schooled, worked and/or visited 30+ countries on 5 continents. He considers himself a “global citizen”​ with a passion for Africa.
