Gerald Chirinda, is the Founder and CEO of Tapiwa Capital, a company that focuses on building sustainable enterprises and unlocking real value in Zimbabwe and the African continent. Gerald is also the co-founder of Educate, which is an education access and improvement company. Educate partners with schools at home and abroad, in it’s core goal of providing financial access through the issuing of loans within the education ecosystem.
He is a male champion for women’s economic empowerment, a champion for ending Neglected Tropical Diseases, Boosting youth employment in Sub-Sharan Africa and trailblazer in engaging young entrepreneurs and thought leaders to advance the African Sustainable Development Growth Agenda, through an organisation he Founded called, Future Africa Forum.
In addition, he is a well-published thought leader and contributor through mixed-media channels and participation in events sponsored by the World Economic Forum, Wilton Park – UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Women’s Economic Imperative, among others.
