BDC has taken several steps to diversify its funding base in line with the Central Bank of Egypt’s initiative to promote financial inclusion. Enjoying 40% liquidity, BDC has expanded in lending activities, whether the finance is for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises or large corporates, aiming to effectively and efficiently support the national economy across all sectors. Recently, the bank has signed a loan agreement with the SANAD Fund for MSME (SANAD), under which up to $ 10 million will be on-lent to micro, small, and medium enterprises.

The selected new board of directors has introduced far-reaching reforms that capitalize on BDC strong market position to accelerate growth levels. As part of the visionary transformation of retail and corporate business lines, BDC deployed a new core banking system. The newly adopted cutting edge solution will enable the bank to provide seamless service to its growing customer base.

BDC now employs more than 7000 employees worldwide.
