The two-day Africa 2016 forum wrapped up its proceedings in Sharm El Sheikh on Sunday 21/2/2016. On the second day of the forum, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held several meetings with Egyptian and foreign investors who took part in the event.
President Sisi stressed the importance of the private sector in pushing forward economic and social development in Egypt and Africa. The private sector contributes to creating jobs, promoting trade exchange and integrating Africa into the global economy, he said.
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met with Sudanese Investment Minister Mudathir Abdul Ghani. The meeting reviewed means of boosting bilateral relations especially in agriculture and livestock fields.
Ismail also met with Director of the Trade in Services division of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Abdel Hamid Mamdouh. He hailed cooperation between Egypt and the WTO, expressing hope to boost cooperation between the two sides in the coming period.
